The sculptures by artist Allen Jones feature female sex dolls wearing bondage clothing bent into the shape of a chair, a table and a hat stand.

The provocative pieces caused a lot of controversy when they were first exhibited in the 1960s, and they continue to shock today.

The 80-year-old is considered to be one of finest pop artists in history.

Talking about his work to the Telegraph, Jones said: "I wanted to kick over the traces of what was considered acceptable in art.”

The Hatstand, Table and Chair were bought by filmmaker and photographer Gunter Sach in 1969 and now a lucky art collector can get their hands on them in the Christie's auction.

The piece are expected to reach a staggering £600,000 - £800,000 each.

The brochure describes the pieces as "purposefully provocative pieces of household furniture, three exaggerated feminine figures are contorted into subservient postures.
