Golden retriever Wallis can sniff out treats TWICE as fast with his two noses
Wallis was born with the canine form of a cleft palate and now has an exceptional sense of smell
MEET Wallis, a golden retriever who is twice as good as at sniffing out his treats – because he has two noses.
The adorable dog was born with the canine form of a cleft palate and has been left with an exceptional sense of smell.
He was adopted by Lana Culley, 21, last month after she was won over by his unusual looks.
Lana is often stopped in the street by strangers who have spotted Wallis’s double nose.
Lana said: “We chose Wallis when he was a puppy because of his noses.
“He is adorable and we knew there wouldn’t be another golden retriever quite like him.
“We already had another dog called Sunny, and the pair of them are inseparable.
“They will often run through the farm together and enjoy going out for walks and swimming in the lakes.
“Wallis is unusual looking and get always get a lot more stares when he’s with us, we wouldn’t change him for the world though.”
