After parting ways four days later to travel to different countries, Jake knew he had to find Marie again.

Images on the @mariefeandjakesnow Instagram page show the stunning pair enjoying their travels around the globe, from swimming in crystal clear waters to exploring some of the world’s most popular cities.

Jake said: “We would’ve never met if Marie’s friend didn’t drop her phone in the ocean.

"She decided to forget about it and have a few drinks on the beach and I was there waiting with a beer in hand."

He continued: “After four days we parted ways because we had flights booked to different countries, but I knew I had to find her again.

“I entrusted a man in Cambodia with my passport and £120 so that he could arrange a Vietnamese visa for me in two hours allowing me to catch a bus to Vietnam to surprise her.

“We definitely knew we had something special after spending the whole of our time there together.”

The couple's relationship has since developed at lightning speed as they travel.

The pair believe feel like their relationship has been through what most relationships wouldn’t go through in five years and has solidified them as a team.

One of the main passions the couple share is photography and  the reaction their pictures get on social media.

Jake said: “We started our Instagram together midway through 2016, the commitment and energy we have put into photography has gradually increased from then until now.

“Early in our relationship we explored some incredible parts of the world and it would have been an injustice not to take photos and share them with our friends and family.

“As we started to learn more, and our photos started to become better, we realised photography was becoming a real passion of ours.

“We love that we can capture a moment and keep it forever, it only takes a couple of scrolls and we start to revisit some of our best moments that may otherwise have faded from memory.

“We always get a really positive reaction from people, although most of the time they mention they could never do it themselves."

Next up, they plan to spend some more time in Asia, including some new islands in Indonesia as well as the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

That will be followed by Morocco, Egypt and Petra in Jordan.

Jake added: "“We definitely have a lot left to tick off our bucket list, in fact I don’t think it will ever end."
